The Naja has been known through history and across cultures as a sacred and protective symbol. Brought to the America by the Spanish Moors and adorning native horse bridles across the plaines, these inverted crescents are most well known for their use in the Navajo Squash Blossom necklaces.

This large Sterling Silver amulet features 8 hand set Ma’anshan Turquoise in fine silver. Hand stamped details adorned the pendant as well as it’s hand formed bail. Measuring approximately 4” long and 3.5” wide, the Naja hangs on a 24” Sterling Chain with hand made Eye and Hook clasp. The three center stones hanging from the middle of the Naja are joined by individually hand soldered jump rings. A patina was applied and then brought to a high shine to emphasize the stamp work and stones.
