This unique pendant is inspired by the slavic folklore character Baba Yaga, a witch who lives in her hut perched atop dancing chicken legs.

The essence of Baba Yaga exists in many cultures and many stories, and symbolizes the unpredictable and untameable nature of the female spirit, of Mother Earth, and the relationship of women to the wild. She is a figure that reminds us that we are ferocious and indomitable.

It features an Emerald Valley Turquoise roof, 14k Yellow Gold windows and dancing legs on a textured Sterling Silver hut. It hangs from an 18” Sterling Silver chain. The jump rings have been soldered shut for stability and freedom of movement. A patina was applied before bringing it to a soft finish. My makers’ mark “EG .925 & 14K” is stamped on the back for authenticity.
